It's never easy having to close a chapter and start a new one, but often necessary to evolve. When one door closes, another opens right? So you come to my site, see fresh new social media accounts with less than 100 followers, less than 50 pieces of inventory in my store and a blog with few posts and think "We have a newbie here." But this, is my fresh start. It's bitter sweet being on my own with this project, which has been a vague hobby I have neglected for quite some time. Bitter, as it reminds me what starting from ground zero feels and looks like. Sweet, because now I am the only creative force and decision maker of my business. Coming from building other brands and successful businesses has its assortment of difficulties and roller coaster feelings.  You never know what to expect when you are shopping online and especially with plus size clothing.  Finding quality, fitting fashionable items is difficult at best. The internet can surely mislead you with altered photos and what you actually receive is nothing like the photo. I took a chance with Amazon hoping to find the perfect pencil skirt.  My issue is that I have a belly flap.  Better known as an "apron" as it's sagging skin and belly fat that hangs rather than a rounded belly or flat stomach.  My waist is small, belly flap and then thick thighs make for a strange figure that clothing usually fits either too small at the hips or too big at the waist. Just booked my vacation to California for the end of this month and I’m super excited!  This trip is bitter sweet as I know this may very well be the last time I see my grandfather before he passes.  But I am very grateful to have the time and means to make it out!  The word traveled fast when I told my dad I booked the trip.  Within the hour I had calls from my cousin and other family members making sure I had them on the itinerary for a visit.  I have to say, it feels great to be in a place where my presence is wanted.  I miss California for sure and looking forward to all the fun things they have planned to do while I’m there. One of the things on the agenda is Disney.  Nostalgic from my childhood, one of my earliest and fondest memories was visiting Disneyland for the first time.  Being in such awww of the beautiful sites and the excitement from seeing the characters filled me with joy.  I was more the thrill seeker so the faster the ride, the higher the roller coaster

  This was my job for the last 3 days during all this damn rain in Baltimore;  bucket babysitting.  Every time I got comfortable and wanted to get some sleep, a bucket would need to be dumped or a new leak would form and I would have to find something to catch it.  AND.... endless towels had to be used to soak up the overage and random smaller leaks.  EXHAUSTING. So, now the rain has stopped at least for now and I am finally able to get back to my normal daily routine.  But I tell ya, what a fucking headache this was.  And now comes time to find out how much this damage is going to cost me!  Shoot me now!  🔫

(@rajaprincess75) on May 13, 2019 at 9:52am PDT It's been quite some time since I have been to the dentist.  A lot of that has to do with not having insurance but once I got coverage it was only natural to make my appointment and get seen asap. When I arrived, I was greeted by my lovely hygienist who told me what she was doing as she performed each action which made it more comfortable.  Not that I have dental office anxiety, but just not knowing this person and having them help me develop confidence in their work really eased any doubts I might have had. She was awesome, quick and efficient!  We took a snap shot and that was probably one of my best visits to the dental office I have ever experienced! 

  I was rather reluctant to shop the what seemed to be over hyped line from Cardi B at Fashion Nova.  The first time they claim that all items were sold out within minutes of going live which seemed a bit exaggerated.   But, I saw the pieces and they are definitely different, high end fashion but most importantly; AFFORDABLE.  The pieces that spoke to me most were the latex looking jackets and bright colors and all available in plus/curve sizes.  It is RARE that a mainstream fashion supplier offer plus sizes to begin with, and have a large inventory that makes shopping online an experience of joy rather than sheer disappointment.   So the REAL question is when you GET the items, do they really fit and are they good quality?  The answer is: yes.    For the most part I have had little issues with the sizes being off, or the quality being poor.  To date, I have ordered about 20 different items both dresses, pants, tops, a costume which I was VERY surprised not only
